Any carpet becomes a stair runner. I cut it to your staircase, bind the edges so they never fray, and wrap every step Hollywood-style — tight to the nose, not floating over it. Most installers don't offer this. It's one of my favorite jobs.

Thirty-one steps across two flights and a landing.

Three upstairs bedrooms went from carpet to LVP, with six doorway transitions stained black to match. Then two flights and a landing, 31 steps, got a Stanton Excalibur runner cut from the roll, bound to width and installed over felt pad. The client found Z Flooring through an AI assistant and read the posted prices before the first text.

Bound to width, wrapped tight on every nosing, felt pad underneath. The pattern lines up step to step because the runner was cut as one piece, not pieced.
