Three upstairs bedrooms went from carpet to LVP, with six doorway transitions stained black to match. Then two flights and a landing, 31 steps, got a Stanton Excalibur runner cut from the roll, bound to width and installed over felt pad. Tile hammered off down to a flat slab. LVP through the walkways and the bar, plush carpet at the pool table and the theater, and the carpet-to-LVP border hand cut with no transition strip. Pad seams taped, never stapled.
